Vertical Aeroponic Platform - VAP
Our vertical aeroponic platform, or VAP for short, provides:
Modular walls and a-frames
Optimal root zone environment
Simple assembly and maintenance

VAP utilizes redundancy in nutrient delivery. This redundancy is implemented with a secondary pump that will automatically start if the primary pump does not produce pressure.
The misting system has been designed to last for 5 years without the need for any pump replacement. In addition, a backup pump has been added to guarantee 100% up-time in the event of a pump failure.
VAP's modular design allows you to maximize floor space and natural\artificial light. We offer walls and a-frames. The height of each unit is 5' for the convenience of planting and harvesting at comfortable height. Each unit is 4' wide. The wall is 1.5' deep, and the a-frame is 3' deep. The wall supports 60 plants and the a-frame supports 120 plants. One nutrient delivery system can supply ten units (wall, a-frame or combination), which is a total of 1200 plants.
Optimized Root Zone
VAP utilizes Root Cooling Technology. Root cooling is achieved by introducing a bottom opening and a top opening - this allows heat to rise - creating a small draft that keeps the roots cooler than ambient air temperature. In addition, cooling fans and mist are automatically activated to keep the root temperature below 25C when the ambient temperature is as high as 32C.
Simple Assembly and Maintenance
Each VAP is assembled by resting the frame onto the base, then installing 10 racks into the frame.
Once the frame is assembled, one supply line is connected to the frames with a push-fit connector, and one drain line is connected to base also with a push-fit connector. Supply and drain lines are not shown.
The unit assembles and disassembles with NO TOOLS.
